This Attorney is ready to go the distance, licensed in both Michigan and Florida. Her training as a long-distance runner provided endurance and fortitude she applied to graduating cum laude from law school. Often described as an old soul, Amanda feels this is a testament to her ability to remain calm under pressure.

Experience at the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office fueled her passion for making a difference in people lives, especially during life's challenging moments. She brings to her new position at Schluter & Hughes Law Firm PLLC, her passion plus estate administration, communication and organizational skills garnered from her former job as an estate planning law clerk.

Before passing the Bar exam and while working her way through school, Amanda spent a decade behind the bar at a family restaurant in her hometown, developing the patience and legendary listening skills of all good bartenders.

Amanda hails from a big family in a small-town surrounded by two brothers and dozens of cousins. She loves to bake and is perfecting her Double Chocolate Cake recipe. Much of her free time is spent reading, along with teaching her pet parrot “Courty” new phrases.
