Trenia has officially stepped into the role she was born to play, a paralegal who brings both professionalism and heart to the job. Organization is her superpower (seriously, she lives and breathes it), but it's her caring nature that truly sets her apart. Trenia has a special way of connecting with people, coworkers and clients alike, and making them feel seen and supported.
Her journey has come full circle. After taking time away from her career to be a full-time caregiver for both her mother and sister, Trenia brings a deep well of compassion and understanding to her work, especially when helping clients navigate estate planning during difficult times. People need someone who listens, who's patient, who gets it. That's Trenia.
At Schluter & Hughes, she's a behind-the-scenes force keeping everything running smoothly. Keeping attorneys on track, managing documents, handling research, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. She thrives under pressure (she even kept a whole law office running during COVID as the sole essential staffer), and she's not afraid to shoulder big responsibilities.
Trenia has over 10 years' experience as a legal secretary and legal assistant, supporting attorneys in a fast-paced environment. She's known for her reliability, communication skills, and ability to juggle a million tasks without missing a beat. And she's not done learning, she took night classes to earn her paralegal credentials and is currently continuing her education in Interdisciplinary Studies at Oakland University.
Outside the office? Trenia is all about R&B and jazz, concert going and LA getaways. She has fun participating in the entertainment world and has been in the audience of everything from The Price Is Right to Conan to The Real. She's also a proud mom and part of a massive, music-loving family that knows how to throw a party. Holidays can draw a crowd of over 60 aunties, grands and cousins for food, fun and games.
