With over 35 years as a registered nurse, Susan has worked in hospitals big and small, in nearly every medical department—from intensive care to post-surgical recovery, wound care, and dementia support.
She's been there in the high-pressure moments, responding to Code Blue emergencies, but also in the quiet, meaningful ones—helping families navigate complex medical decisions and making sure her patients feel heard, respected, and cared for.
As a care coordinator, Susan bridges the gap between doctors, hospitals, and families, ensuring a smooth and stress-free healthcare journey. She understands the ins and outs of medical care and knows how to anticipate needs, communicate effectively, and advocate for her patients. Whether it's managing medications, coordinating doctor visits, post-surgical care or simply being a reassuring presence, Susan is committed to making life easier for those she works with.
Nursing runs in Susan's blood—she grew up watching her mother who was a nurse and knew from a young age she wanted to do the same. She truly enjoys getting to know her patients, listening to their stories, and being a source of comfort and guidance.
On weekends, you'll find Susan soaking up the beauty of Northern Michigan. Whether cycling as a 3x Iceman Mountain bike racer, skiing, or golfing, she embraces the outdoor lifestyle. She's also a music lover who enjoys spinning vinyl records in her basement rec room with friends and family.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certified
Certified in Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) and Hypothermia Protocol
