DEBORAH EVANS
PARALEGAL
During Deborah's 30+ years in the legal profession, she has supported attorneys by performing day-to-day administrative tasks, drafting probate pleadings, administering estates, valuing assets, drafting Federal Estate Tax Returns, drafting Gift Tax Returns, maintaining trust accounts, and drafting accountings.
Deborah spent five years of her career working for the Public Administrator, an attorney who is appointed by the Governor of the State of Michigan to serve as a Guardian, Conservator, and Personal Representative in estate and conservatorship proceedings. She gained valuable experience in the Wayne County Probate Court system often in difficult estate situations involving real estate, local law enforcement, subpoenaing records, placements in assisted living facilities and nursing facilities.
A 2-time Pro Bono All Star award winner for her work with MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, Deborah assists with Guardianship cases for the families of the military stationed there. She has participated for many years in the 9/11 Day of Service, and also volunteers with her church.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the beach, capturing the beauty of Florida through photography, day trips around Florida, attending concerts with family and friends, and spending time with her two Dachshunds.
