New Attorney Announcement

Get in Touch

We are thrilled to welcome aboard Dawn M. Schluter, Esq. and excited to announce our new name.

I am extraordinarily proud to have Dawn as partner, as the firm continues to grow. She's recognized as a Super Lawyer, a top-rated attorney in the nation and to me, she's also a super hero, as she has devoted her career to helping families and individuals during some of their most difficult times.

Dawn is widely respected and nationally known in the field of estate planning. Prior to partnering with Hughes Law, Dawn was Senior Principal at Miller Canfield in Detroit, MI and is a frequent lecturer and guest speaker on topics related to estate planning.

“Helping people plan for important life events is incredibly satisfying. I look forward to working collaboratively with our entire team. Much of my work focuses on preserving assets through estate planning and gives my clients peace of mind.”
- Dawn M. Schluter, Esq.

We are a multi-faceted probate and estate planning boutique law firm that understands life is a journey that needs a village to support it. Our all-female team of professionals include lawyers, paralegals, nurses and accountants that are guided by this shared vision. We have developed a custom model called the Continuum Life Plan to help families understand the natural progression of aging.

Coming together as Schluter & Hughes Law Firm, PLLC, we'll inspire each other to innovate and continue helping individuals and families architect planning at every intersection of their lives.

Warmest Regards,

Kristen A. Hughes, Attorney and Counselor at Law
