MICHELE K. MARSH, LLMSW
CARE COORDINATOR

As a specialist in Dementia and Gerontology and a Social Worker with a Master's Degree, Michele has a robust ‘toolbox' of resources for navigating the needs of her clients with compassion and intelligence.
Michele has a tremendous amount of experience building relationships with the retirement community, certified home care, private caregiver agencies, and hospice. For over 10 years, Michele has been a patient advocate specializing in social work for skilled nursing and continuing care.
Michele has a gift for supporting the grief process. Using her personal experience, she touches each person with empathy and reassurance at every step of their journey. Grief is hard work, and Michele has the ability to be the calm within the storm for those she serves.
She believes having an advocate with passion and understanding can make all the difference in quality of life. A deep respect for those that she serves is reflected in her interactions, listening ear and attention to detail. She values trust, confidence and authentic communication. Michele is comfortable working as part of a team, utilizing resources and services that may be of assistance.
During Michele's time as a Social Worker at Washtenaw County Children Services, she worked with young women to advocate and support their goal of higher education.
Michele is a football, basketball and track mom, cheering on her high school son from the sidelines. Free time is for travel, a spot under a palm tree and underwater exploring are favorite destinations. She loves documentaries and music. You may have seen her as Aretha Franklin, marching in the Detroit Parade as part of the Big Head Corp volunteers.
